The Story

It all began in 1998 with a dream sparked during a stay at a cozy Ohio inn. Inspired by the charm of hosting guests, Joseph and Deborah Franko turned that dream into reality in 2001 by opening Bass & Baskets Bed and Breakfast. Named for their love of fishing ("Bass") and a passion for collecting Longaberger Baskets® ("Baskets"), this unique B&B has been a beloved lakeside retreat ever since.
